The Mission of St. Malachy Catholic School

Guided by the example of Our Lady and drawing on the Church’s tradition, our school provides excellent Catholic Classical Education and instills in students our Blue and Gold Values to help them become who they are meant to be.

Our Vision

At St. Malachy Catholic School, we are committed to recognizing each child as a unique gift from God. We educate students in a way that allows them to become the best version of themselves. We help them recognize and develop their diverse gifts and talents so that they may use them to serve their community and their world as Jesus taught. Our educators, staff members, parents, guardians, and members of our parish community all partner together to provide the lessons, opportunities, and care to help our children grow. The St. Malachy community must shine resplendent so that every student may become who they are meant to be.

Our Philosophy

At St. Malachy Catholic School, we firmly believe that each student has a fundamental right to a safe, comfortable, stimulating, and caring environment in which each child is treated with love and respect. We strive to project Christ's Gospel message of peace, love, and fellowship in our daily activities and in our daily relationships with each other. Realizing the Gospel's call to be more like Jesus, our faculty and staff reflect through their example the moral, doctrinal, and liturgical way of life that we identify as Catholic.

We believe that every child entrusted to us is a gift from God. While their parents and guardians are considered to be the child's primary educators, it is our duty and responsibility as Christians to assist in the development of each child's faith. This is accomplished through the establishment of an atmosphere where the Gospel message is brought to life on a daily basis.

Reopened and Rejoicing!

Thanks in great part to the joint vision of Fr. Alfredo Rolón, Archbishop Thomas Wenski, and Superintendent Dr. Jim Rigg, St. Malachy Catholic School reopened our doors in 2023. We are proud to celebrate the history of our former school while also creating a new, exciting education option for famililes in and around Tamarac, Florida. St. Malachy provides a classical education in a warm, caring environment. We celebrate the rich traditions of our Catholic faith while also providing an innovative curriculum. At the core of everything we do are the strong values and character education parents expect from a top-notch Catholic school.
